Karni Sena Organizes Shaurya Yatra to Mark Maharana Pratap Jayanti

Jamshedpur: The Kshatriya Karni Sena organized a “Shaurya Yatra” on Sunday to celebrate the birth anniversary of the legendary warrior king, Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap. The procession, which saw participation from hundreds of residents, turned the streets of Bhuiyandih into a sea of saffron and patriotism.

Spectacular Equestrian Display

The highlights of the event were the breathtaking stunts performed by horses representing the legendary “Chetak.” Before the march commenced from the Bhuiyandih Patelnagar ground, the horses performed a series of disciplined manoeuvres and stunts that left the spectators spellbound. The display served as a tribute to the historic bond between Maharana Pratap and his loyal steed.

Former CM Raghubar Das Pays Tribute

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and current Odisha Governor Raghubar Das joined the gathering at Bhuiyandih Chowk. He offered floral tributes at the statue of Maharana Pratap and addressed the youth, describing the King of Mewar as an eternal symbol of sacrifice, valour, and unwavering patriotism.

Community Service and Celebration

The Karni Sena also organized a service camp along the route, distributing refreshments including sharbat, halwa, and laddoos to thousands of devotees and passersby. The entire route echoed with slogans of “Jai Maharana” as the procession moved toward Bhuiyandih Chowk.
