Lions District 322A to host ‘Samagam 2026’ conference in Jamshedpur

Two-day event on April 3–4 to bring together Lions leaders, members, and guests for service, leadership, and recognition

Jamshedpur, April 2: Lions District 322A will organize 60th District Conference, titled “Samagam 2026,” on April 3 and 4 at The Wave International in Jamshedpur. The two-day event is expected to witness the participation of Lions leaders, distinguished guests, and members from across the district.
The conference is being led by District Governor PMJF Lion Sanjay Kumar and Conference Chairman PMJF Lion Rahul Verma. The details were shared by Media Chairperson Lion Vivek Chaudhary during a press conference held at a hotel in Bistupur on Thursday.
The event will be attended by several prominent guests. Past International President Lion Naresh Agarwal will be the Chief Guest, while Sourav Roy, Chief Executive Officer of Tata Steel Foundation, will inaugurate the conference. Rajesh Puri from Mumbai will join as an inspirational speaker, and Rakeshwar Pandey, President of INTUC, will attend as a special guest.
Sanjay Kumar said, “The main objective of the conference is to promote excellence in social service, strengthen leadership among members, and encourage a spirit of compassion and cooperation.”
Various sessions, interactions, and recognition programmes are expected to be held during the event.
The organizing committee includes Media Chairperson Vivek Chaudhary, Region Chairperson PMJF Lion Ashok Khandelwal, and Zone Chairpersons MJF Lion Shashi Gadia and Lion P. Pushpalata.
Several key members, including Cabinet Secretary Sameer Khanna, District Chairperson Dr. Manju Rani Singh, Dharmendra Singh, Vinita Shah, Madan Kesari, and President Rupesh Kumar from Daltonganj, were present at the press meet.
Around 650 representatives from all 84 clubs of District 322A, along with region and zone chairpersons, presidents, secretaries, treasurers, and members, are expected to attend, making the event grand and memorable.
