Jamshedpur, June 2: Jamuna Tudu, a social worker dedicated to conservation of forest and environment, who was awarded by the President, met BJP leader Dinesh Kumar at his office in Golmuri on Thursday.
Tudu, who is also known as ‘the lady Tarzan of Jharkhand,’ informed about the initiatives taken by her organization to save forests. She asked the party leaders for support towards her organization and invited them for World Environment Day celebration at Chakulia.
Dinesh Kumar assured of full help and said that soon he will meet the Chief Minister Raghubar Das for government assistance so create awareness towards environment conservation.
Later, the BJP leader also felicitated Tudu. Poonam Vig, president of Samadhan organization, Probir Chatterjee Rana, Kapil Kumar, Bunty Agarwal, Ashok Samta, Jaswant Singh, Rakesh Rao, Ankit Anand and others were present on the occasion.
