Agniveer Vayu Recruitment Drive Held for Jamshedpur Youth

Jamshedpur: More than 100  local aspirants gathered at the Dishom Guru Memorial Library in Sakchi on Tuesday to attend an awareness lecture on the Indian Air Force’s Agniveer Vayu recruitment scheme. The session sought to demystify the application, entry process, and inspire the next generation of aviators to explore career opportunities within the armed forces.

Junior Warrant Officers Ajay Sharma and Mandeep from the 10 Airmen Selection Team led the briefing, providing a comprehensive overview of the Agniveer Vayu framework. The officers meticulously detailed the eligibility criteria and selection phases while outlining the rigorous physical and academic standards required for the role. Beyond the technical requirements, they spoke passionately about the foundational pillars of military life, stressing that discipline, physical fitness, and an unwavering sense of dedication are essential for those seeking to serve.

The event saw active participation from approximately 100 students representing a wide range of academic backgrounds. During a lively interactive session, the officers addressed a variety of student queries in accessible language, successfully resolving lingering doubts and significantly boosting the confidence of the attendees. Many participating youth characterized the lecture as a vital turning point in their career planning, expressing a renewed commitment to joining the Indian Air Force and dedicating their lives to national service.
