Jamshedpur, July 11: Sanjay Karmakar (28), a resident of Garudbasa in the Govindpur police station area, lost his life on Thursday morning after falling from a roof. Sanjay, who worked as a laborer, had gone to sleep on the roof of a neighbour’s three-storey house due to the scorching temperature after dinner. Unfortunately, the roof lacked a railing, and he fell, suffering serious head injuries.
Sanjay’s brother, Raj Kumar Karmakar, rushed him to MGM hospital late at night upon discovering the incident. Despite efforts, Sanjay succumbed to his injuries during treatment on Thursday morning. The police have been notified, and the body will be handed over to the family after post-mortem.
