Kolhan VC Prof Gangadhar Panda’s keynote address at Ghatshila College today

Ghatshila, August 28: A lecture session on ‘Contribution of Spirituality in the determination of moral values’ will be organized under the joint aegis of the Santali and Political Science Departments of Ghatshila College on Monday, August 29. The Chief Guest on the occasion will be the Vice Chancellor of Kolhan University, Prof Gangadhar Panda and Vishwa Bharati University’s Prof Arun Ranjan Mishra will participate in the event as the Special Guest. Prof Gangadhar Panda will be the keynote speaker at the lecture session that will commence at 2 pm on Monday, August 29.

Briefing the media, Ghatshila College Principal, Dr RK Chaudhary said that since August 29 coincided with the celebration of National Sports Day, sportspersons of the institution who had excelled in various sports genres at the national level would be honoured by the Chief and Special guests during the programme on Monday.

The Ghatshila College PRO, Prof Indal Paswan who is also the Head of the Political Science Department informed that it would be the first time at Ghatshila College that the Kolhan University Vice Chancellor would be visiting the institution and being the keynote speaker on the subject, ‘Contribution of Spirituality in the determination of moral values.’ Prof Paswan also stated that it would be a single honour to welcome Prof Arun Ranjan Mishra of Vishwa Bharati University as the Special Guest on the occasion. Another important event on the occasion would be the release of ‘Dharti ki Vyatha,’ the eight booked penned by Ghatshila College Principal Dr RK Chaudhary.   The new book will be released by Prof Gangadhar Panda and Prof Arun Ranjan Mishra.
