Jamshedpur, August 28: The women’s wing Surabhi of Marwari Yuva Manch Steel City (MYMSC) organized Cyclothon– 2022 on the occasion of National Sports Day on Sunday, August 28. This programme was under the programme, ‘Dosage of Fitness Half Hour Roz.’
The Cyclothon was flagged off by chief guest Lt Col Sangita Sinha from the Modi Park in Bistupur and the six kilometer route covered cyclists pedaling along Old Court Road through Jubilee Park before culminating at the starting point. More than 180 participants in all age groups from 12 years covered the entire route. The Surabhi team led by President Usha Chaudhary organized the event.
The top three winners in the age group of 12 to 17 years were Lakshya Prasad, Ranjan Pradhan and Amrit Pal respectively while those participants in the above 17 years’ group who bagged the top three places were Vivek Sharma, Niranjan and Sunil Kumar respectively.
The guests on the occasion included Nand Kishore Agarwal, Ajay Chetani, Arun Gupta, Ashutosh Kabra, Nidhi Agarwal, and Preeti Kauntia. Consolation prizes were given to six CYCLOTHON participants who included Anirban Nag, Prakash Agarwal, Aditya Garg, Yog Agarwal, Reality Dev and Shubham Modi.
