Jamshedpur, March 27: The eagerly anticipated sixth convocation ceremony of Kolhan University is now slated to take place in the month of July. With preparations already underway, the university is gearing up for the grand event.

It’s worth noting that the sixth convocation ceremony had faced two postponements previously. Initially scheduled for last year, the first proposed date for the convocation was in March. Plans were in motion to invite President Draupadi Murmu as the chief guest. However, due to uncertainties surrounding the President’s schedule, the ceremony had to be deferred.

Subsequently, the then in-charge Vice Chancellor cum Commissioner of Kolhan, Manoj Kumar, had rescheduled the convocation for July 18, 2023. Unfortunately, this date also had to be postponed for reasons undisclosed.

Undeterred by the setbacks, preparations are now in full swing for the third attempt at organizing the convocation ceremony. University authorities are leaving no stone unturned to ensure a successful and memorable event for all participants.
