Jamshedpur: The construction work on the new foot overbridge at Tatanagar railway station has been expedited in compliance with the directives of Chakradharpur Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Arun J Rathore. The aim is to ensure the commencement of the new foot overbridge for passenger convenience by July.
It has been reported that on March 24, the DRM initiated a campaign to assess passenger amenities at the station. During this inspection, the DRM issued instructions for the immediate completion of the foot overbridge construction work. Additionally, a new escalator has been installed on platform number one as part of the ongoing efforts to enhance passenger facilities at the station.
