Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Kisan Sabha organized a public meeting in Dhirol village under Potka block on Tuesday.
The outfit members unanimously decided to wage a massive agitation in support of their 11 demands pertaining to farmers and workers.
They said the agitation will start on 15th September with a dharna before the Raj Bhavan in Ranchi.
The meeting was presided over by the outfit general secretary Surjit Sinha. A new committee of Potka branch was also formed on the occasion.
Among those present at the meeting included Tarni Sen Manjhi, Laltu Das, Jagat Murmu, Sanjay Patra, Aarti Karmakar, Suni Manjhi, Gurubari Sardar and Utpal Biswas.
