Jamshedpur: Railway Protection Force (RPF) jawans confiscated 102 kg of kendu leaves from the general compartment of Koraput-Howrah Sambaleshwari Express at the Tatanagar railway station on Tuesday.

The leaves were kept surreptitiously near the toilet. During a surprise inspection, RPF jawans stumbled upon the bundles of leaves that were being taken to West Bengal from the forests of Kolhan. The RPF officials informed the forest department about the seizure and lodged an FIR against unidentified persons.
