Jamshedpur: A Kathak dance programme titled �Dharohar� was organized at Town Hall, Sidhgora, on Sunday under the aegis of Krishna Kala Shikshan Sansthan, New Delhi, in collaboration with Namo Sandesh, Jamshedpur.
Renowned Kathak dancer Anu Sinha was present as mentor of the participants. The special guests of the event Ranjana Mishra and Madhurima Parihar jointly lit the ceremonial lamp to inaugurate the event. A welcome speech was delivered by Kathak guru Sudha Singh Deep.
The first performance �Ganesh Vandana� was rendered by the students of Upgraded High School, Laxminagar under the direction of Anu Sinha.
The programme ended with Meera Bhajan performed by Padma Jha. A vote of thanks was proposed by Ramkrishna Dubey.
Others present on the occasion included Pandit Sandeep Bose and Avnish Dutt Pandey.
