Karim City’s Rinku Kumar to get Indira Gandhi National Award

Jamshedpur: Rinku Kumar, a National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteer of Karim City College, has been selected for Indira Gandhi National Awards, a distinguished award given in the field of self service. He will receive the award from the President of India Ram Nath Kovind on 24th September on the occasion of NSS Day at Rashtrapati Bhavan. He will also get a cash prize of Rs 50,000. He is the first NSS volunteer of Kolhan University to be selected for the award. The principal of Karim City College Dr Mohammad Zakaria congratulated Rinku Kumar for his achievement. The Vice Chancellor of Kolhan University Shukla Mohanty has also congratulated Rinku on his selection for the reputed award.
