Jamshedpur: Jusco School, Kadma, a part of the JEM Foundation under Jusco, is carving out a niche in the educational hub of Jamshedpur. Jamshedpur is known for high standard of education and has always figured at the national level as far the educational results are considered. But at one corner of the town, Jusco School Kadma is carving out its space amongst other schools for its education excellence and co-curriculum activities for the overall growth and development of the students.
In a bid to give a better environment to the children, Jusco School, Kadma has worked out a long term plan for the development of the school in a phased manner. As part of the first phase the school developed a plan for the pre-primary section and decided to construct a searate wing. The work on this started on 26 October last and in a record timeframe the construction of the first phase got completed on 22 April 2014. The new wing was inaugurated on 24 April 2014 by Ruchi Narendran.
Present during the inauguration were Vandana Mathur, Jatinder Singh, DGM (Town Planning and Architect), Jusco, AF Madon, Administrator, JEM Foundation, Jhumjhumi Nandi, Principal, Jusco School, Kadma. The new wing consists of 6 rooms for Nursery and LKG classes along with two toilets. With the inauguration, the classes started functioning and the kids are enjoying the new facility which is built keeping all safety and ergonomics norms.
At present, Jusco School, Kadma, has approximately 1300 students with the Teacher Student ratio of 1 to 32, which is considered to be one of the best as far as industry norm is considered. The School strictly follows a standard strength of not more than 45 students in each class so as to focus on the overall development of the kids. The School is now affiliated to CBSE, Board and going strength to strength as far as education standard is considered.
The School offers activities which challenges the students to recognize their talent and to strengthen their learning through practical applications both inside and outside the classroom, to develop the true personality of the child and to make them a responsible citizen. Many co-curriculum activities are organized throughout the year like Dance, Archery, Taekwondo, Yoga, Chess, Eco Club, SAFE Club, Heritage Club, etc for the overall development of the student.
