JPS Principal urges parents to give ‘Quality Time’ to their children

Jamshedpur, March 27: Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) organised an interactive workshop for parents of the Nursery children for session 2015-2016. The programme began with a prayer service by the nursery teachers Paridhi, Rashmita & Maninder.

The ceremonial lamp was lit by the Principal Namita Agarwal along with the Primary School Coordinator Mrs Parveen Kaur, a parent and a student.

The Principal welcomed the parents with the message that the best gift that a parent can give to their child today is ‘Quality Time’. It is important for both parents to make the child feel loved and wanted. Children must be taught to respect their elders at home and in school.

The Principal emphasised that the school aims at the holistic development of students thus along with academics, activities, games & personality development of students is of prime importance.

The teachers apprised the parents about the nursery curriculum, programmes & events and about the rules & regulations of the school.

There was a question answer session where the parents were able to get answers to their queries & concerns. The programme ended with a Vote of Thanks by the Coordinator. The new session begins on 6th April  for the tiny tots.
