Jamshedpur, March 27: Jamshedpur Utilities and Services Company (JUSCO) partnered with Bill Desk to allow customers in Jamshedpur to make their monthly utility bill payments via Mobile App and Internet using Net Banking and Debit/ Credit Cards.
This marks a first-of-its-kind initiative rolled out across the State of Jharkhand – one that will give customers the convenience of making monthly utility bill payments through mobile app on their mobile phones/ internet – anytime, anywhere. Sunil Bhaskaran, VP (CS), Tata Steel formally launched the Mobile App/ Internet based facility at Jusco Conference Hall on 27 March 2015. Ashish Mathur, MD, Jusco, Raghunath Pandey, President, Jusco Shramik Union (JSU), Tapan Lenka from Bill Desk, Office Bearers of JSU, Senior Management Team from Jusco were present during the launch function.
To download the App the customer needs to either go to: JUSCO website i.e. www.juscoltd.com and download from the link provided on the Homepage – JUSCO Bill or Google Play Store – type JUSCO Bill to download the same in your smart phones (both Android and iOS).
The objective behind this is to develop a customer centric organization through benchmarking and adopting best practices across the sector. In 2004 Jusco started the Sahyog Kendra, a 24×7 Helpline Complaint Management System for all the services it provides in Jamshedpur.
The second stage of improvement focused on Single Window Service Hub with initiatives like Air Conditioned Bill Payment Counter and Jusco Grahak Seva Kendra.
The third stage of improvements focused on Multi Mode Payment facilities like De-centralized Bill Payment Counters across town, Information through SMS and Payment through ATP Machines. The fourth stage focused on Auto Mode Bill Payment with facilities like direct debit from saving account through Bill Desk.
The rollout of monthly utility bill payments via mobile app and internet is yet another step towards customer centricity. With this, customers can now pay monthly utility bill from the comfort of their homes without needing to stand in queues.
