Jamshedpur: A major case of job fraud came to light at MGM Hospital, Mango, when ten women arrived at the premises expecting employment but instead found themselves cheated. The women, residents of the Govindpur railway line area, alleged that a man from their locality promised them jobs at the hospital in exchange for Rs 1,000 each, along with their Aadhaar, PAN, and bank details.
Victim Kajal Pal stated that the man brought them to the hospital canteen, asked them to wait, and then disappeared. After hours of waiting, the women sought help from Home Guard personnel and later reported the matter to hospital superintendent Dr. R.K. Mandhan. He advised them to file a written complaint at Govindpur police station for legal action.
The incident has exposed how anti-social elements exploit unemployed youth, luring them with false promises of jobs. Authorities have urged vigilance and strict action to prevent recurrence of such fraudulent activities.
