Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society tribute to Birsa Munda

Jamshedpur, June 9: Today, on the occasion of death anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Prabhat Pheri was taken out by Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS) units in all the blocks of the district (Patamda, Bodam, Jamshedpur, Potka, Ghatshila, Baharagora, Musabani, Dhalbhumgarh, Chakulia, Dumaria and Ghorabandha). On this occasion, District Information and Public Relations Department, East Singhbhum made available information about government schemes at various important centres through street plays.

The Block Development Officers, Circle Officers and JSLPS staff paid tribute by garlanding and offering flowers to the picture and idol of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. A film based on the life of Bhagwan Birsa Munda was also shown on this occasion..
