Over 10 lakh applications received in less than a week
Ranchi, October 18: The Apki Yojana, Apki Sarkar, Apke Dwar– the ambitious doorstep delivery of welfare schemes campaign initiated by Hemant Soren’s government going by initial response is a roaring success.
The campaign across various panchayats in all the 24 districts of the state launched on October 12 at Giridih has so far had chief minister inspecting the campaign at Koderma, Bokaro and Chaibasa. It is to be noted that the aforementioned campaign is to be conducted in two phases. The first phase is scheduled from October 12- 22 and the second phase between November 1-14 marking three years of the JMM-led UPA government in state.
As on Tuesday, 10,40,476 applications have been received from a total of 9,57,614 beneficiaries. Out of these, 4,78,747 applications have been disposed of while 5,61,729 applications are under process of being resolved. So far, 5,77,380 applications have been received from 5,42,094 beneficiaries under the main welfare schemes of the government. Out of these, 2,46,615 applications have already been disposed of and 3,30,765 applications are in process.
So far 1,19,701 applications have been received for the Sona Sobran Dhoti Sari Lungi distribution scheme out of which 68,311 beneficiaries have already been linked to the scheme. Whereas, 51,216 applications are under process. The Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana launched by the Chief Minister has benefited 21,168 girl students. Total of 92,817 applications have been received under the scheme out of which 71,269 applications are under process.
Under Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Vikas Yojana 10,786 other beneficiaries have been linked. A total of 46,116 applications have been received so far under this out of which 34,969 applications are under process.
Under Sarvajan pension scheme 6,002 other beneficiaries have got linked with the scheme. A total of 13,272 applications have been received so far for this out of which 7,008 applications are under process. 3,948 farmers have got benefits of Kisan Credit Card (KCC). A total of 14,756 applications have been received for KCC in which 10,697 applications are under scrutiny.
The Government has previously given green ration cards to about 15 lakhs beneficiaries whereas 1,473 people have been rendered with the right to food so far under the ongoing campaign. The Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme provided a loan to 3,099 youths. Progress has been witnessed in the allocation of work under MGNREGA in the last five days, 15,042 new works have been allotted so far.
On the other hand, the State Government has deputed the principal secretary rank officials and various secretary rank officers to inspect the camps that are being organised under the ambit of the “Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Apkey Dwar” campaign.
The officers shall review the progress of the ongoing campaign as well as take note of the issues being faced by the public besides taking their valuable suggestions. The officers will undertake inspection visits to various districts that have been assigned to them during the given period of October 12 – Nov 14 to ensure smooth functioning and overall success of the campaign.
