Ramkrishna Forgings Limited Milestone: First Vande Bharat sleeper bogie dispatched from Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, May 8: Ramkrishna Forgings Limited (RKFL), a leading industrial company, achieved a landmark success on Friday with the successful dispatch of its first fully assembled LHB bogie frame for the prestigious Vande Bharat Sleeper Coach project from Plant-7 in Jamshedpur

The milestone marked a significant achievement in the company’s contribution to India’s railway manufacturing sector and the broader “Make in India” initiative. The dispatched LHB bogie frame was fully equipped with wheels, advanced suspension systems, disc brakes, and other critical components, reflecting high engineering precision and technical expertise.

The event was graced by Rizwan Siddiqui, Executive Director of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Jhansi, along with Assistant General Manager Girish Raj. From RKFL, Executive Director Milesh Gandhi, Group Chief Human Resources Officer Bhupendra Lodhi, Plant Head Rajat Biswas, and Plant HR Head Ravi Shankar Rajhans were present, along with several senior officials and team members.

The visiting dignitaries appreciated the collective efforts, dedication, and technical excellence demonstrated by the Plant-7 team. They highlighted that this achievement reflected RKFL’s growing capabilities in the railway manufacturing sector and its alignment with India’s modern infrastructure development goals.

Company officials noted that this successful dispatch strengthened RKFL’s position as a key contributor to high-end railway component manufacturing. The achievement was expected to further enhance the company’s role in future railway modernization projects across the country.
