Ranchi, March 17. The PIL filed in the High Court against five former ministers of Jharkhand has been dismissed on Monday.
The Jharkhand High Court dismissed the PIL filed in the disproportionate assets case of Amar Kumar Bauri, Neelkanth Singh Munda, Randhir Singh, Louis Marandi and Neera Yadav after hearing.
All of them were ministers in the then Raghubar Das government.
In the year 2020, Pankaj Kumar Yadav had filed a PIL regarding disproportionate assets. A division bench of Jharkhand High Court Chief Justice MS Ramachandra Rao and Justice Deepak Roshan on Monday heard the PIL filed in the High Court against the then ministers Amar Kumar Bauri, Neelkanth Singh Munda, Randhir Singh, Lewis Marandi and Neera Yadav.
After this, the division bench dismissed the PIL related to disproportionate assets. Pankaj Kumar Yadav had filed a PIL in the Jharkhand High Court regarding the investigation of disproportionate assets of five former ministers. He alleged that they have assets more than their income. There has been an unexpected increase in their income. He had filed a PIL demanding an investigation.
