Ranchi, September 20: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that through Janata Durbar the government will reach out to people to know the reality of execution of government welfare schemes.
Addressing a meeting cum Janata Durbar in Barhait block of Sahebganj district on Tuesday, Hemant Soren said has said that the purpose of such meetings and Janata Darbar is to reach out to masses and know about the execution of welfare schemes execution.
“We want to know about whether the benefit of the scheme is reaching to the beneficiaries or not. All the officials have been directed to take the benefit of the welfare schemes of the government in their area to the people as soon as possible. We will be visiting any area of the state for inspection and officials will be taken to task for failure,” said Soren.
He said that for the same purpose today we have started the program of going to the people from this historic land of martyrs of Bhognadih.
The Chief Minister said that the government has taken the decision to make 1932 land survey record based local policy as identity of the tribal.
“Its outline is being prepared in such a way that where people used to protest against the local policy in Jharkhand in the earlier governments, today the public is happily adopting it. Today the government is working to provide security cover to the tribals-indigenous people here with laws. The erstwhile BJP government made a law in 2002 but it only resulted in bloodshed,” said Soren.
The Chief Minister said that government is working to provide appointments to youths.
“Those who are not getting appointments are helped in getting self-employed under various departments of the governments, the loan of Rs 50,000 without any guarantor has been increased to Rs 1 lakh,” said Soren.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various schemes worth Rs 16710.52 lakh. In which foundation stone of 155 schemes worth Rs 15618.40 lakh and 58 schemes worth Rs 1092.12 lakh were inaugurated. The assets were also distributed among 293 beneficiaries under various schemes by the Chief Minister. On this occasion, the Chief Minister fed kheer to small children as part of Annaprashan ritual.
