Jharkhand Government Universities get approval for 2024 Holiday Calendar

Ranchi: Governor cum Chancellor CP Radhakrishnan has given his approval to the holiday calendar for the year 2024 for all government universities in Jharkhand. The Principal Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Nitin Madan Kulkarni, has communicated the approved calendar to all universities, directing them to adhere to it diligently.

According to the approved calendar, colleges and PG departments will observe a 20-day summer vacation, while a 12-day winter vacation has also been granted. The Governor has specifically instructed Birsa Agricultural University (BAU) and Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT) to follow the holiday calendar of the state government. This move aims to ensure uniformity and streamline the academic schedules across the state’s government universities.
