Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated the five-day Jiasowa Diwali Fair-2025, organized by the Jharkhand IAS Officers’ Wives Association (JIASOWA), at the Morabadi Ground in Ranchi on Thursday.
In his address, the Chief Minister stated that JIASOWA has been dedicated to public welfare and social service since its inception. He noted that the organization has come a long way and is now celebrating its silver jubilee. Like every year, the fair is being held with enthusiasm and zeal. The Chief Minister stated that the proceeds from this fair are used for the welfare of the poor and needy.
People involved in outstanding social work were honored on the occasion, and a library was inaugurated.
The Chief Minister noted that while many organizations organize fairs for commercial purposes during festivals, Jiasowa has always been associated with service and social responsibility. The Chief Minister said, “Jiasowa, which is primarily run by the spouses of Jharkhand IAS officers, is playing a vital role in the upliftment of society. I wish all the members and office bearers of the organization that the benefits of their hard work and service continue to reach those in need.”
