Jharkhand CM assures aspiring teachers of justice 

Hemant continues with populist decisions

Ranchi, September 9: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren on Friday gave assurance of justice to teachers aspirants.

A delegation of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JTET) met the chief minister and requested to recognise CTET as equivalent to JTET before issuing the advertisement of upcoming teacher appointment during the meeting at CM’s Kanke residence in Ranchi.

A delegation of All Jharkhand CTET Passed Candidates Association met Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren. During this, the Chief Minister was requested to organize JTET (Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test) or to recognize CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) as equivalent to JTET before issuing the advertisement for the upcoming teacher appointment. Chief Minister Hemant Soren told the delegation of All Jharkhand CTET Passed Candidates Association that the state government will not allow injustice to anyone. The state government will consider  their demands.

Meanwhile, a delegation of successful candidates of Jharkhand Armed Police has also requested Chief Minister Hemant Soren to publish the second merit list of Jharkhand Armed Police Advertisement No. 02/2011 (General Constable) Corps No. 02 to 09. The Chief Minister has assured the delegation of just and legal action in this regard. On this occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren directed the concerned officials to take appropriate action on the problems of many other visitors.

The chief minister who is facing threat of disqualification as an MLA after an Election Commission opinion sent to the Governor over an office of profit allegation seems to have gone on an overdrive in solving longstanding problems of the state. Recently, the government met the demands of Anganbari sevikas and sahayikas, it also met the demands of 20 days compensatory leave of the state police association and also assured of paid study leave and meeting other demands of Jharkhand Administrative Services (JAS) delegations.
