Jharkhand anticipates rain from Jan 3 to Jan 6

Ranchi: Jharkhand may experience a change in weather as the new year unfolds, according to information from the Meteorological Department. Anticipated from January 3rd to 6th, there are chances of rain, primarily in the north-western and central regions of the state. Areas such as Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar, Lohardaga, Ranchi, Bokaro, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti, and Ramgarh are likely to witness isolated light rainfall during this period. The skies are expected to remain overcast, creating dry conditions.
Over the next 24 hours, no significant change in the minimum temperature is foreseen. However, a gradual increase of 2-4 degrees Celsius in temperature is expected over the following two days.

In the past 24 hours, the state experienced dry weather, with some areas recording light to moderate fog. The highest maximum temperature reached 27.4 degrees Celsius, while Giridih registered the lowest minimum temperature at 7.9 degrees Celsius. In the capital, Ranchi, the weather cleared after morning fog, with a maximum temperature of 22.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 10.6 degrees Celsius.
