Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Academy to take on Cable Cricket in final of Inter Training Center Under-19 Tournament

Jamshedpur, April 26: Jharkhand Cricket Academy will take on Cable Cricket Academy in the final of Inter Training Center Under-19 Cricket Tournament to be played at Telco Cricket Ground on Wednesday, April 27.

Earlier, in the semi final matches played on Tuesday, Cable Cricket Academy defeated GVK Cricket Academy while Jharkhand Cricket Academy beat Telco Cricket Coaching Society to enter final.

In the first semi-final match played Cable Cricket Academy won the toss and elected to bat and scored 133/7 in 20 overs.  Chasing 134 to win GVK Cricket Academy, started well but fell short by 26 runs as they managed to score 107 runs all out in 17.4 overs.

Aditya Singh of Cable Cricket Academy was awarded the man of the match for scoring 12 runs and taking 3 wickets.

Vivekanand Singh, Head Administration Achintya Singh, Head, CSR, Tata Motors were the chief guests.

In the second semi final match Jharkhand Cricket Academy won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first Telco Cricket Coaching Society scored 127/8 in 20 overs.

Jharkhand Cricket Academy chased down the target in 13.2 overs.

Abhishek Dutta of Jharkhand Cricket Academy was awarded the man of the match for scoring 51 runs in 19 balls.
