Jamshedpur’s Tata Zoo director Bipul Chakraborty resigns, Dr M Palit takes charge

Jamshedpur, November 8: Bipul Chakraborty, director of Tata Steel Zoological Park (Zoo), operated in collaboration with Tata Steel, has resigned.

Currently, deputy director Dr. M Palit has been given the charge of Director.

It is said that Dr. M Palit was given charge from November 1, while Bipul Chakraborty’s last working day was November 1. Bipul Chakraborty told that he has been appointed Director of Sardar Patel Zoological Park by the Gujarat Government.

It has been established near the world famous Statue of Unity of Sardar Patel.

 Bipul Chakraborty said that as the director of Tata Zoo, an attempt was made to do the best that could be done. It is expected that the future of the zoo will improve in the coming days.

 Bipul Chakraborty was the director of Tata Steel Zoological Park for a long time. He was the second director. At the same time, now Dr. M Palit has been ordered to handle the work till the appointment of a new director.
