Jamshedpur’s MGM hospital sweeper dies due to corona, employees protest

Jamshedpur : An outsourced sweeper (29) of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) Medical College Hospital died on Monday from Corona. As soon as other cleaning workers were informed about this, the entire hospital witnessed protest. The cleaning workers stopped work early in the morning and demanded insurance. This is the death of another scavenger from Corona in the hospital. The workers said that even before this a sweeper has passed away. Even then the benefit of insurance was not given. When the government has announced to give 50 lakh insurance, then why are they being denied.
