Seraikela, Aug �24: The impoverished tribal woman, who got pregnant after the temptation of marriage, has approached the Superintendent of Police to seek justice by investigating the disappearance of her child and the release of the so-called lover. A woman, completely helpless with her life, earlier pleaded for justice at the Saraikela Women’s Police Station.
In her letter submitted to the Superintendent of Police, the victim has said that Seraikela Mahila Police Station had gone to record her written statement however, the application was removed by the police station, saying it was too long. The woman has now written in a letter to the Superintendent of Police that the family of the accused youth, Subal Mahato, is forcing her to forget the past. The womanhas requested the Superintendent of Police for justice.
A young man from the village, Subal Mahato, sexually abused Preeta for a long time by keeping her in a rented house near Gamharia railway station, by enticing her for marriage. After getting pregnant, she was admitted to a private nursing home in Adityapur on February 13. On 14 February she gave birth to a son.
On 15 February, the mother-child was discharged by the accused youth and brought to a rented house at Gamharia railway station. Then speaking of taking the child home, he took the child away from the mother. The woman is now demanding justice.
