Jamshedpur’s Bijay Kumar Singh to get Red Cross National Merit Certificate

Jamshedpur, July 7: Bijay Kumar Singh, Hony Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, East Singhbhum Chapter, has been selected for Red Cross National Merit Certificate.

Bijay Kumar Singh, has been recognized by the National Headquarters of Indian Red Cross Society for his humanitarian services to the needy in the district of East Singhbhum.   Singh, who has been serving the East Singhbhum Branch of Indian Red Cross Society as its Hony Secretary for the last 18 years, has indeed played a pivotal role in not only in extending relief in times of disasters, but also helped the needy in distress in the East Singhbhum district. 

Acknowledging his service to the society at large, Jharkhand Governor has recommended for Red Cross National Merit Certificate.  The massive relief work undertaken by the East Singhbhum Branch of Indian Red Cross Society during COVID-19 has also been lauded by the Central Government.  Singh will be honoured with this certificate at a function of Indian Red Cross Society at Rashtrapati Bhawan on July 17, 2023.
