Mail News Service

Jamshedpur: Zila Parishad Chairperson Bari Murmu and member Dr. Paritosh Singh met with the Chief Minister of Jharkhand to discuss the pressing issue of the vacant Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) post in East Singhbhum. The absence of a DDC has reportedly hindered the implementation of vital public welfare schemes in the district, particularly affecting rural areas.

During their meeting, Murmu and Singh expressed concern over the slow progress in housing construction and other welfare programs, citing the lack of a dedicated DDC to oversee these projects. They emphasized the importance of having a functional administrative structure to ensure that development work is carried out effectively and on time.

The Chief Minister assured Murmu and Singh that the post of Deputy Development Commissioner would be filled soon. The leaders are hopeful that this will resolve the administrative bottlenecks and accelerate the implementation of government schemes in East Singhbhum.
