Jamshedpur Youth’s body recovered

Jamshedpur, December 15: The body of a youth was recovered from Swarnarekha river near Beldih Gram under Bistupur police station on Friday.

The body has been identified as Bhim Singh Bhumij (32), a resident of Jhabari Basti, Sonari. According to the information received, Bhim Singh used to work in an office located in the Circuit House area. He left home for a morning walk on Monday morning, but did not return. On receiving information about the dead body in the river, the family members reached the spot and identified the body.

Police reached the spot and took out the body from the river and sent it for post-mortem. Bhim Singh’s younger brother Bhopal Singh Bhumij told that his brother was mentally disturbed for some days. He remained quiet even at home and did not talk to anyone. Brother had no enmity with anyone. The exact cause of death will be revealed only after the post mortem report.
