Jamshedpur: Sambhav Kumar (20), a resident of Ichhapur, Adityapur, tragically lost his life late Tuesday night after falling from the railing of the Kadma Toll Bridge. According to reports, Sambhav had left his home to celebrate the New Year with his friends, Shubham and Ravi. While wandering, the trio reached the Kadma Toll Bridge, where Sambhav attempted to climb the railing to film instagram reel.
Sambhav slipped and fell, sustaining critical injuries. His friends immediately rushed him to Tata Main Hospital (TMH), where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Kadma Police Station in-charge Sanjay Suman confirmed the incident, stating that an investigation is underway, and the deceased’s friends are being questioned at the station.
According to the friends, Sambhav’s fall was accidental, caused by a slip. Shubham, who also climbed the railing, narrowly escaped the same fate. Police have informed Sambhav’s family about the incident and have preserved the body in TMH’s mortuary. The post-mortem is scheduled for Wednesday.
Authorities are continuing their probe into the matter to ascertain the exact sequence of events leading to the tragic accident.
