Jamshedpur, Dec 3: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Jamshedpur, organized a workshop on the importance of Constitution at Nyaya Sadan conference hall. Judicial Magistrate Ranjay Kumar and DLSA Secretary NN Sanga were present on this occasion.
In his address, the Judicial Magistrate said Constitution was vital for the country as well as for every state in the present times. Without Constitution, it is not possible to establish a good administration and system of justice, he said.
“The Constitution is the supreme written law of the land which comprises of basic rules and doctrines. It was prepared on 26th November 1949 and came into effect on 26th January 1950. It took two years 11 months and 18 days time to take shape,” said the Magistrate.
The DLSA Secretary said the workshop was organized as a part of the Constitution Awareness Week programme that started on 26th November last. He said the workshop was organized with the view to administer to the people the oath of discharging the Fundamental Duties enshrined in the Constitution.
Many advocates were present during the workshop.
