Jamshedpur Women’s University: Salary increase for vocational teachers announced

Jamshedpur, August 17: Vice Chancellor Prof. Anjila Gupta has announced a forthcoming salary increase for vocational teachers at Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU). The decision follows the successful completion of all necessary procedures. Prof. Gupta highlighted that the university, now in its second year, has been consistently conducting regular examinations, holding its first convocation, and integrating degrees into DigiLocker. The academic bank credit system has been streamlined, and the Savitribai Phule library has been upgraded. Placement opportunities are improving, with 109 girl students recently placed at Tech Mahindra. This salary hike is expected to further bolster the university’s commitment to vocational education.
