Jamshedpur, March 6: In a significant academic collaboration, the Dean of Manipal Tata Medical College (MTMC), Prof. Dr. G. Pradeep Kumar, along with his team, visited the Department of Home Science and Clinical Nutrition at Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) for a preliminary review ahead of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
During the visit, JWU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anjila Gupta lauded the initiative, calling it a commendable step towards academic excellence and mutual growth. She extended her best wishes for the successful signing of the MoU.

The Head of the Department of Home Science, Dr. Rama Subramaniam, welcomed the visiting team and provided insights into the department’s achievements. Faculty members Dr. D. Pushpalatha and Sanchita Guha presented a detailed PowerPoint showcasing the department’s capabilities, resources, and academic scope. The Manipal Tata Medical College team assessed the available lab facilities and expressed satisfaction with the infrastructure.
Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar emphasized that the upcoming MoU would benefit students pursuing graduation, post-graduation, and PhD research by fostering academic exchange and research opportunities.
The event saw the presence of faculty members Dr. Sunita and Sunita Mundri, along with research student Anu Sinha and a large number of students, marking a promising step towards interdisciplinary collaboration in nutrition and health sciences.
