Jamshedpur, April 1: The court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) of Jamshedpur Civil Court Nishant Kumar sentenced two brothers, Akhilesh Kumar Gupta and Nikhilesh Kumar Gupta, to seven years of imprisonment in connection with the violent clash following a land dispute in Bistupur Gurudwara Basti. It also imposed a fine of Rs 11,000 on each of the convict.
The court released another accused in the case, Virendra Prasad Gupta, after admonition on account of his poor health. Gupta was brought to the court in an ambulance. His brother Rajendra Prasad Gupta had registered the case against his brothers and nephews.
