Jamshedpur, March 3: Police here on Thursday arrested two persons for allegedly blocking main road and assaulting police officials during lockdown on 14th June last year. Those arrested were identified as Bhushan Mahato, resident of Bhagabandh, and Asit Mahato, resident of Shankardih Tola. Cops said they were conducting raids for several other accused also wanted in the case. They said a total of 70 people had assaulted the police team removing blockade from the main road in MGM police station area.
