Jamshedpur: Tribal leaders to fix Sendra Parv date on March 30

Jamshedpur, March 25: A meeting is going to be convened by the tribal community members to decide the date for the annual hunting ritual of Sendra Parv in the forests of Dalma. It will be held on 30^th March. A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting organized today at the residence of the tribal leader Rakesh Hembram, who holds the traditional title of ‘Dalma Raja’. It was decided to celebrate the festival in the traditional manner. The tribal people from all 12 Maujas comprising several villages are expected to participate in the annual hunting festival.
