Jamshedpur, Mar 22: A site inspection was carried out near National Highway, Vasundhara State, for the proposed construction of an inter-state bus stand under the Mango Municipal Corporation area.

The inspection was led by Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Shatabdi Majumdar, with MMC deputy municipal commissioner Krishna Kumar, Zonal Officer Brijesh Srivastava and Assistant Municipal Commissioner Arvind Prasad Agarwal present on the occasion.

During the inspection, SDO Shatabdi Majumdar confirmed that 9.88 acres of land had been made available to the Urban Development and Housing Department for the bus stand project. She emphasized that the location is strategic and will not cause traffic congestion.

To prepare the site for construction, instructions were given to employ workers under the Chief Minister Shramik Yojana for cleaning and bush-cutting activities around the designated land.

“This location is ideal for the inter-state bus stand as it will ensure smooth traffic flow without any major disruptions,” said SDO Shatabdi Majumdar during the inspection.
