BJP to host ‘Sneh Milan Samaroh’ on Bihar Day in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Mar 22: The BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar has announced a grand ‘Sneh Milan Samaroh’ on March 27 at Michael John Auditorium, Bistupur, to commemorate Bihar Day. This event aims to honor Bihar’s rich cultural heritage and strengthen bonds within the migrant Bihari community.

To finalize preparations, a preparatory meeting was held at Burmamines Devasthan Auditorium, chaired by BJP Mahanagar President Sudhanshu Ojha. The meeting saw the presence of several senior BJP leaders, including Jharkhand BJP State Vice President Balmukund Sahay, Shailendra Singh, Anil Modi, Sanjeev Singh and Vijay Tiwari. Discussions centred on ensuring a well-organized and meaningful celebration.

Speaking on the occasion, Balmukund Sahay highlighted the importance of the event in fostering national unity and connecting migrants to their cultural roots. He stated, “The BJP is committed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.’ This event will provide a platform to celebrate Bihar’s glorious past and unify the Bihari diaspora.” Echoing his sentiments, Sudhanshu Ojha remarked, “This program will not only keep Bihar’s traditions alive but will also serve as a unifying force for the migrant Bihari society.”

The event will feature traditional cultural performances, felicitation of distinguished Bihari migrants, discussions on Bihar’s history and contributions and a community meal featuring authentic Bihari and Jharkhandi cuisine. Sahay also emphasized that nearly two crore Bihari migrants live across India and this initiative will strengthen their ties with their heritage while promoting the ethos of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (The World is One Family).

The stage coordination for the event is being handled by District General Secretary Anil Modi and District Co-Convener of the Thank You Campaign, Deepak Jha. With enthusiastic participation from BJP leaders and the community, the Sneh Milan Samaroh is poised to be a grand tribute to Bihar’s cultural and social legacy.
