Jamshedpur, May 8: A Tata Motors employee, identified as Ravindra Prasad, was killed in a road accident near Telco Club on Sunday.
The incident reportedly occurred when a speeding car knocked down Prasad’s motorcycle. Prasad was critically injured in the incident. He was taken to Tata Motors Hospital where he was pronounced brought dead. The car driver fled after leaving the car at the scene, police said.
Police said the deceased lived in a quarter near Hill Top School. The bike and car have been seized and a case has been registered against the errant car driver.
