Jamshedpur, May 25: A stray dog bit nine people in Daiguttu, Mango, on Wednesday.
The victims belong to the age group between 10 years and 55 years. They reached MGM Hospital for anti-rabies vaccine.
One of the victims, Arun Kumar of Telco, said, “I work as a security guard at an apartment in Daiguttu. The dog entered the apartment premies this morning. When I tried to shoo it away, it bit me.”

Another victim, Sanu Devi, was bitten by the dog when she was sitting outside her house. “The number of stray dogs has increased like never before. We have complained to Mango Municipal Corporation several times. But no action was ever taken. We are helpless as we cannot do anything to prevent repetition of such incidents,” she said.
