Ravindra Kulkarni hoists Tricolour at Moolgaonkar Stadium

Jamshedpur, Jan 27: Tata Motors Jamshedpur Plant Head Ravindra Kulkarni hoisted the National Flag on the occasion of Republic Day at Sumant Moolgaonkar Stadium in Telco on Thursday. He also inspected the parade on this occasion. In his address, Kulkarni said Tata Motors had always considered safety of people as top priority. He said the company was celebrating Road Safety Week from 12th January to 11th February this year with the view to improve road and vehicular operational safety and make the employees and other citizens more aware on the topic. Traffic rules are meant for our safety and it is our duty as responsible citizens to follow them, he said.
Kulkarni said the company was utilizing more and more engineering controls at workplace to create new standards of safety. He further said that the company had played vital role in nation building and the employees were proud to be a part of the Tata family.
He went on to add that the automobile industry had played important role in promoting the country’s economic development. The company had started its journey in 1945 by manufacturing steam locomotives, he said.
