Jamshedpur resounds with chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ on Ramnavami

Jamshedpur, April 10: Large crowds of devotees gathered outside various temples across the city on the auspicious occasion of Ramnavami. They comprised a considerable number of youths. Raising religious slogans, the devotees worshipped Lord Ramchandra, His wife Sita, His brother Laxman and Bajrang Bali.

Jambo Akhara and Rohan Akhara of Bhalubasa were thronged by hundreds of devotees.

Saffron flags were also tied atop poles, temples and other high places on this occasion.

Temple managements were seen asking devotees to follow Covid guidelines issued by the government.

Elaborate arrangements were made to provide water, sharbat and chana-halwa Prasad to the devotees.

Kanya Pujan was performed in households and temples on the occasion of ninth day of Chaitra Navratri.

Young girls were worshipped and offered prasad, sweets, gifts and dakshina by the puja organizers on the completion of the nine day long puja.
