Jamshedpur, May 4: Jharkhand witnessed slightly lower temperatures on Saturday, providing some relief from the intense heat in most districts, including Kolhan Region. However, 13 districts still experienced temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, with Seraikela recording the highest at 42.9 degrees Celsius. Jamshedpur registered a maximum temperature of 41.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 24.2 degrees Celsius.
Other districts such as Daltonganj, Bokaro, Deoghar, Garhwa, Godda, Jamtara, Baharagora, Pakur, Palamu, Ramgarh, Simdega, and West Singhbhum also saw temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius.
On Sunday, hot winds and humid conditions are expected in West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Seraikela, Sahebganj, Godda, Pakur, Dumka, Deoghar, Jamtara, Dhanbad, and Bokaro districts of Kolhan. Additionally, rain with thunderstorms is anticipated in various parts of the state starting from Monday.
