Jamshedpur, May 4: Little Flower School, Telco, hosted the ASISC Zonal Creative Writing Competition, inviting students from classes 6 to 12 to showcase their literary talents. The competition was divided into three categories: sub-juniors (classes 6 to 8), juniors (classes 9 and 10), and seniors (classes 11 and 12), accommodating a wide range of participants. A remarkable turnout of over 70 students from 26 ICSE schools across town graced the event, demonstrating the enthusiasm and passion for creative expression among the youth.
The judging panel, comprised of Dr. Piyalee Gupta, Smita Choudhary, and Sujata Mukherjee, meticulously evaluated the creative writing materials, ensuring a fair and thorough assessment. Following the intense judging process, the results were announced.
In the senior category, K. Vidya from J.H. Tarapore emerged as the winner. Veera Pathak from Sacred Heart Convent School clinched the victory in the junior category, while Avneet Kaur Dogra from DBMS English School secured the top spot in the sub-junior category.
Little Flower School reiterated its commitment to nurturing the artistic talents of students and expressed its eagerness to host more such events in the future.
