Jamshedpur police nab cyber criminal after 5 yrs

Jamshedpur, June 5: After five years, police have arrested Rameshwar Mandal, a resident of Ahilyapur police station area of Giridih, in the case of cyber fraud of Rs 50,000 from the account of Pushpa Bera, a resident of Baharagora, an account holder of Sakchi-based Punjab National Bank.

Police has arrested him from Giridih. In this regard, Pushpa lodged an FIR in Sakchi police station on 25 May 2018.

According to the complaint lodged by Pushpa, the holder of mobile number 8299703170 had fraudulently made an illegal withdrawal of Rs 50,000. During investigation, the police found that the said money was transferred to Rameshwar Mandal’s account.

After verification, the Sakchi police obtained an arrest warrant and arrested him.
