Jamshedpur, June 5: A passenger bus going from Jamshedpur to Dhanbad caught fire suddenly on Monday evening in Thanthani valley under Patamda police station of East Singhbhum district.
The fire started in the engine of the bus and soon it spread to the entire bus. The driver immediately showed understanding and made the bus stand on the side of the road and got the passengers off the bus. The bus had become a ball of fire. The incident was reported to the Jharkhand Fire Department.
According to the information received, the bus was going from Jamshedpur towards Dhanbad. The bus was climbing uphill near the Thanthani valley, when suddenly the engine of the bus caught fire. The passengers saved the goods kept with them, but the goods kept in the trunk of the bus were burnt to ashes. No one has been harmed by the fire.
